The 2025 Big Give Christmas Challenge: aspiring to new heights

The 海角乱伦官方 (RCM) is delighted to once again take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s largest online match-funding campaign.
Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we surpassed our most ambitious goal to date, unlocking and matching over £100,000 in donations.
This year, we are thrilled to rise to that challenge once more, with every penny raised going directly towards our Scholarships Fund, supporting exceptional young musicians from all backgrounds to realise their full potential.
About the Big Give
Founded by entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir Alec Reed, the Big Give Christmas Challenge has become the UK’s biggest online match-funding campaign, helping charities nationwide raise millions for their causes.
Thanks to the generous support of the Reed Educational Trust Limited and our community of match-funders, every donation will be doubled, helping talented young musicians thrive at the RCM.
How to donate:
From 12pm on Tuesday 2 December until 12pm on Tuesday 9 December 2025, donations made via the RCM’s Big Give webpage will be doubled, meaning your generosity will go twice as far.
Every pound you give will help us unlock up to £100,000 in match funding, so there really is no better time to give. Matching funds are limited, so we encourage you to donate as soon as the campaign opens.
A clear message will appear on the Big Give page once the Challenge begins. Only donations made between 12pm on 2 December and 12pm on 9 December will be eligible for matching. You will receive confirmation if your donation qualifies.

Philanthropy has been at the heart of the RCM since its founding, ensuring that talented individuals can access world-class musical education, regardless of financial background. The RCM Scholarships Fund remains one of the most vital ways we support our students, and your contribution makes that possible.
Thanks to our supporters, last year’s campaign funded 19 Big Give Scholarships for students during the 2024–25 academic year, transforming lives and enabling students from around the world to study with leading professors, access state-of-the-art facilities, and take part in exceptional performance opportunities.
