Bruckner Symphony no 7 in E major WAB 107
Celebrated for interpretations of passion and subtlety, conductor Lawrence Renes leads the RCM Symphony Orchestra in Bruckner’s monumental Symphony no 7.
Full of blazing themes and spacious textures, the piece features the first use of Wagner tubas in a symphony, adding depth to an already expansive ensemble, while the opening came to Bruckner in a dream. Don’t miss the chance to hear RCM musicians performing this epic masterpiece, alongside John Adams’ hypnotic and rhythmic Shaker Loops, written in the heyday of American minimalism.
This performance will be streamed live. To watch, please subscribe to the º£½ÇÂÒÂ×¹Ù·½â€™s and switch on notifications, or watch at
